Her growing practice, a New York state Certified Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE), provides outsourced human resources (HR), corporate recruiting and third-party employee complaint investigation services; strategic planning; change and project management; workplace dispute resolution; career / leadership coaching; and social media / reputation advisement services for leaders, businesses and nonprofit organizations locally and nationally. Her diverse client base includes employers ranging from 5 to over 13,000 employees. Deb is a member of the Capital Region Women@Work Executive Advisory Board.
A graduate of The University of New York at Albany, Deb received her SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certification from The Society of Human Resources Management in 1998. She is also a trained and certified community, family, legal and employment dispute Mediator, as well as an authorized Everything DiSC® and Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team™ Partner.
With her husband Joel, Deb partnered to create and run via an unsecured SBA loan (obtained by their collaborative business plan) The Best Framing Company, a custom picture-framing retail storefront, from 1994 until 2001, when their greatest collaboration to date arrived: their son Noah, who is 15 years old. Joel is a published fiction writer and artist, and he continues to run The Best Framing Company virtually for a select group of long-time clients.
